THOMASTON, Ga. - The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) released the fourth edition of the Class-A Private Football Power Ratings on Monday, Oct. 7, with the Mustangs (3-3, 1-2 Reg. 5-1A) coming in tied at no. 20 overall for a second consecutive week.
The ratings are used to determine the Top-24 teams from Class-A Public and Private. At season’s end, those teams advance to the GHSA State Playoffs.

The Mustangs return to action on Friday, Oct. 11, hosting Region 5-1A opponent Wesleyan.
Kickoff against the no. 7 Wolves (4-2, 1-2 Reg. 5-1A) is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Mount Vernon's Upper Campus Football Field.
